​​We created Simione Travels for two reasons: to make travel more accessible, and to share our deep passion for the world’s most stunning regions. What began as years of studying, living in, and exploring the destinations we now specialize in has evolved into a calling. Namely, to help others experience these destinations while making the stress and the anxiety of the unknown disappear.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create uniquely personal travel experiences while also respecting the cultures and the locations we visit.
We can guide you through centuries-old abbeys and to sip delicious wines while also appreciating the cultural richness of contemporary communities. We can take you sailing along the shores of the North Sea while also connecting you with services of the highest quality. We know this is possible because we have done it- time and time again. We believe that this world belongs to all of us and we strive to ethically share the beauty that travel offers in every itinerary that we design.
Sarah Simione
Founder & owner
​Sarah is an experienced operations manager and traveler advisor, originally from New York. She grew up in a Sicilian family filled with chatty uncles, loud holidays with cousins, and delicious Sunday dinners. She has been inspired by her own cultural background as well as others, and received her Masters Degree in Sustainable Cultural Heritage in Rome.

She continuously immerses herself in cultures and languages, and her favorite question to ask is "what is authenticity?". This is exactly what we ask ourselves whenever we start a new itinerary. Her professional goals include successful tour management for both groups and individuals, operations management, and product development. She leads her team in providing you with substantive experiences and optimal care for your trip North, South, and everywhere in between!
