Andalusia

Sample Itinerary for Southern Spain
Take a look below at our sample itinerary of a tour and let's plan the perfect trip for you!
Day 1-4
Embark on your journey through Andalusia, Spain's glorious southernmost region, and start in the city of Málaga. Málaga is a masterful city dominated by the shadow of a grand hilltop castle, Mount Gibralfaro, and colored by its most famous citizen, Pablo Picasso. Lose yourself in one of the city's many museums; we highly recommend the Picasso Museum, the Carmen Thyssen museum, or the quirky Crystal Museum. Feel like escaping into nature? Look no further than the enormous botanical gardens in the north of the city that feel like a hidden oasis. Be sure to schedule in a day trip to Ronda, a city built precariously over a death-defying gorge, or trek the mountain walking path El Caminito del Rey.
Day 5-8
Prepare yourself for breathtaking beauty as you transfer north to Granada. Once the jewel of the Emirate of Granada (the last Islamic stronghold in Iberia during the Middle Ages), the city continues to seduce all those who visit to explore the many cultural and geological layers. After having your fill, continue your exploration of Islamic Spain with a visit to the red and white striped Mosque of Córdoba or to many of the various Islamic fortresses that dot the region.
Day 9-11
Onto the star city of Andalusia: Seville. Seville is both a major university city and a titan of architectural beauty. Wake up in a historic boutique hotel in the heart of the city and gaze up at la Giralda, the iconic bell tower of Seville's Cathedral, which just so happens to be the 2nd largest cathedral in the world. Take a private tour of the Plaza de Toros, the largest and most important bullfighting arena in Spain or visit during late spring for La Feria, a week long festival in Seville!
Day 12-14
Discover Cadiz, the ancient gateway to the Mediterranean and one of the most important port cities in the ancient world. Don't forget to have your passport handy as you stop off in Gibraltar, a British overseas territory, known for its graceful cliffs (and its mischievous monkeys)! Whether you're shopping for souvenirs or unwinding on a secluded Spanish beach, Andalusia is sure to capture your imagination.
