Many travelers overlook this tiny country nestled in between Belgium & Germany. However, The Netherlands is a remarkable place, chock full of charm, industry, history, and nature, all waiting for you to explore.

Sample Itinerary for The Netherlands

Take a look below at our sample itinerary of a tour and let's plan the perfect trip for you!

Day 1- 4

Click on your clogs and start off your Dutch adventure in the lovely capital of Amsterdam. Amsterdam is known for its plethora of art museums, design shops, waterside cafes, and, of course, its iconic rowhouses, so what better place to stay than a refined accommodation alongside classic rowhouses with views over the canals! Start your exploring with a boat ride through this maze of canals, a marvel of hydro-engineering, and join a city tour to learn all the scandalous secrets of the Red Light District, the Pijp neighborhood, and more. Alternatively, choose to join a boat ride (drinks included) to see the city from the water! Enjoy some local bites, and then visit the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijks Museum to learn all about the Dutch Masters.

Day 5 - 7

The Netherlands is a small country and it is remarkably easy to visit nearby cities and towns, so leave your suitcases safe and secure in Amsterdam and zip off to Zaanse schans, home to the Netherlands' most bucolic windmills! Let our local guide take you inside the mills to see where grain, color pigments, and even chocolate had been stored, and then go to the top of the mill to gaze out over the quaint fields that surround the area. Further, enjoy a gouda cheese making demonstration and, of course, enjoy a sampling to fully round out your experience! Other day-trips nearby include tranquil Haarlem with its archeology museum & Utrecht with its stunning Old Town and university. There are so many options and we are excited to introduce you to them all!

Day 8 - 10

As you transfer to the south of the country, be sure to have your memory card for our stop in Keukenhof, home of the famous Dutch tulip fields. Typically blooming in mid-April, these tulip fields attract tourists from all over the world as their beauty and symmetry are a sight to behold. Thereafter, settle into your boutique hotel in the Hague and take in wonders such as the masterpiece Girl with the Pearl Earring at the Mauritshuis museum or, if you're visiting in the summer, go for a swim along coastal beaches. Fancy a bicycle tour through the city's parks, and then a scrumptious dining experience along the canals? We got you covered!
